Israel got out of Egypt in a moment.
But Egypt took much longer to get out of Israel.
When God led Israel out of Egypt, he didn't take them straight to the Promised Land. He led them into the wilderness, where they had to learn a new way of living—and unlearn the ways of Egypt that had shaped them. This fall, we'll journey through Exodus together and ask what God might be leading us to unlearn so that we, too, might learn to dwell with him.
