Women's Missionary Union (WMU)

Sunday Morning Service - 11:00 AM - Our Sunday morning service reflects our reverence for the Lord where the congregation gathers to worship Him together.  We sing classic hymns and worship songs from The Baptist Hymnal 1991, accompanied by piano.  Our choir sings and leads the congregation in singing during the worship service and performs a variety of styles of sacred music.  The worship service includes the Doxology, a short children's sermon, and the pastor's sermon.  Occasionally, the Hickory Rock youth will provide contemporary music for the worship service.

Sunday School for all Ages - 10:00 AM - We have Sunday School for all ages, meeting at 10:00 a.m. in various classrooms within the Church.  The senior adults, adults and teenagers meet in the new classroom building located on the side of the the Sanctuary, while the children meet in several classrooms located in the hallway between the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall.  Hickory Rock Baptist also has a Spanish class which meets in the Fellowship Hall.  New participants are always welcome!

Youth Meeting and Adult Small Group Prayer Meeting - 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.  Our youth meet in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm to enjoy a time of fellowship, Bible study, food and games.  Our adults meet also on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary for prayer.  New participants are always welcome!

Wednesday Services

Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting - 7:00 PM

Hickory Rock has a prayer meeting and bible study every Wednesday night at 7:00pm. All are welcome!

The choir practices on Wednesday evenings following the prayer meeting from 7:45pm to 8:30pm.

Women's Missionary Union (WMU)

The Woman's Missionary Union is an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention that seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschoolers with missions education to become radically involved in the mission of God.

2009 Building Project

Hickory Rock Baptist Church recently finished building a new Sunday School addition which now houses the Youth, Adult and Senior Adult Sunday School classes.  Click here to view pictures from the groundbreaking ceremony and the various stages of progress.
