Luke Benjamin Smith was the pastor at Hickory Rock Baptist from 2003 until November 2010. He is a native of Washington, D.C.  Pastor Smith studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, The American Baptist Seminary of the West (located in Berkeley, California) and Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC.  He earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree at Duke Divinity School in 2005. In 2010, Pastor Luke accepted the call to serve at Linden Heights Baptist Church in Staunton, Virginia. Though we miss Pastor Luke very much, we pray God's blessings upon him and his continued ministry in God's service.
